Some surcharges may apply as well as additional insurance packages.
5
What amenities are available on a private jet?
The range of amenities is subject to the chartered aircraft, with the larger jets having the highest options for cabin amenities.
Most private jets typically offer a range of amenities including comfortable seating, Wi-Fi, entertainment systems, gourmet catering and an on-board lavatory. The larger jets are equipped with a night cabin as well as a fully attended flight.
Very Light Jets are typically not as well equipped, so if cabin experience is important for you, we'd recommend a light jet or above.
6
Do I need to go through security if I book a private jet?
Yes, you will need to pass through security however this is handled privately in the FBO or VIP Terminal and is not to the same level as commercial flight.
It is usually fully discrete and is conducted very quickly.
At some airports, your bags are screened whilst you wait at the bar or in the lounge to minimise disturbance or interaction.
7
Can I bring liquids into the cabin?
Yes, private jet charter is very flexible with what you can bring into the cabin. Liquids, including champagne is permitted within the cabin. Dangerous goods such as batteries, firearms or explosive materials are not permitted.
8
Is there a baggage limit on private jets?
No, you are not restricted on baggage allowances.
You are able to bring with you as much baggage as the aircraft is permitted to carry, and this will depend on the type of the aircraft and the number of passengers.
If you have lots of baggage, we recommend chartering a larger aircraft to ensure sufficient capacity.
9
How soon do I need to arrive before departure?
You can arrive at the FBO or VIP terminal around 15 minutes before the scheduled departure. If you are late, the aircraft will often be able to wait for you, provided that it is reasonable to do so.
We recommend arriving between 30-45 minutes prior to relax and enjoy the FBO facilities before departure.
10
What happens if I need to cancel my chartered flight?
The operator cancellation policies vary, but they usually involve a fee based on how close to the departure time you cancel, sometimes up to the full charter rate.
If you cancel long in advance of the scheduled departure, you may not be liable for any fees.
Lux Jets will inform you of the terms of the operator upon booking.

Are there any additional costs?
